Electrical Resistance bolt heating or torch bolt heating can boast speed, but that is not the only factor engineers consider for assembly and disassembly. Uncontrolled heating can damage the bolt, adding undesirable costs. Speedorange™ is metallurgically friendly due to its controlled heating design. The stud temperature never exceeds 670° F. For most applications, the required temperature is only about 320°F. Additionally Speedorange™ technicians can accurately regulate the temperature within +/- 20°.
